Mah's first book on Course Design became a bible for judges and instructors. In this book, Mah switches to the perspective of the handler. The book includes illustrated definitions of agility course terms (At last I understand the difference between a serpentine and a threadle), maneuvers that every agility handler needs to understand and perform almost instinctively, and detailed discussions of handling options for obstacle sequences.
It explains jumps, obstacle discrimination and traps from the dog's perspective, giving handlers better insight into making the correct handling choices for their dogs.
Each page needs to be lingered over, studied, perhaps acted out a few time, and read again. This is one for the true fanatics that are trying to run full courses and want to compete. I knew after 40 pages that I loved this book, and it's definately going into my dog training library to be referred to again and again.
