This is my beautiful Bonnie. The nice folks from the no-kill shelter said all they knew was that she was part sheltie. Can anyone give me an idea of what else she may be? Border Collie? Aust. Shep? She likes to fetch and swim. She is 16 weeks and weighs 14 lbs. and sure has a lot of energy! Thanks for your input as I'm just curious. She sure seems smart.

She looks a lot like a smooth haired collie, but it could just be the sheltie mixed in her. And then I thought Akita, but that just popped in my head, and now that I look she doesn't look much like one. And then I thought rat terrier, possibly. I'm not too good at breed guessing, but I am good at noticing a cute puppy when I see one...your one lucky puppy owner.

I can see familiarities with your pup and the corgi now too, now that everyone mentions it. ;D He looks similair to this cutie: And then I thought smooth haired collie, but maybe its just the colorings.

eeeeeeeeehh... I don't know what it is but something about this dog screams Corgi to me too. I've wanted a corgi for forever. BUT I have to say it's not the ears for me... Those look more like shepherd ears to me. Corgi ears are more at a 45 and a lot more rounded. These ears are sticking straight up. They look too foxy to be corgi ears. Way too pointy. I'd like to see a pic of the full body. I think she may be part corgi... The tail looks a bit too long for corgi not full enough for shepherd but I'd say she's more so some type of shepherd. The markings on the snout make me think BC... In any case... she's a CUTIE! ;D

I love this game! Do collie/sheltie ears stand up when they are young, and flop over later? Cause otherwise those radars shout German Shepherd to me, and color could definately be Border. The intense eyes are saying Working Dog.
Ask again in about six months, cause it could be most anything. And she is stunning.

The ears are husky- or something along that type - (GSD puppies ears don't stand up that soon and they're not the shape of a GSD's ears) but looking at the size of her feet, there is definitely some GSD in her..those are large paws!
So my thinking is she's BC, Husky and a bit of GSD.....
