This reply was to a woman whose gd has become aggressive, and it has been determined that it is caused by the Rabies vaccine. The reply clearly shows that Rabies vaccinosis aggression is real, and that it can be cured homeopathically.
Hi Beckie..
I hear your pain. I have a springer spaniel who has rage attacks that are directly related to her rabies vaccinations..
Of course, at the time when this began happening, many, many years ago when Maggie was less than one year old..I had no idea what was going on..so Maggie has suffered for a lot of years..I'm sorry to say..
I now have a wonderful vet, Dr. Blake..he is a member of this list...
The Doc, as I call him, put Maggie on a Gemmotherapy remedy called Lime Tree to detox her nervous system. We began this treatment I would say about a year ago now...
Maggie is 1000% better now..(no, that is not a typing error..I did mean to type 1000!)
She's like a different dog..it is wonderful! She has no more rage attacks..she is very sweet and calm..it's truly amazing...
And guess what? She's 14 years old now! She acts like a puppy! The change in her is no less than miraculous!
I don't know what I would do without Dr. Blake..and I won't allow myself to even go there...
I will give you a word of warning however..and please take this word of warning seriously...
Please do NOT put your dog on this remedy without someone like Dr. Blake to be at your side to guide you through your dog's healing process..
Your dog will go through the "reversal of symptoms" process once treatment with Lime Tree begins..and at times, this can be quite scarey unless you have someone to guide you through this process so that you understand what is going happening..
I am sure Magda is very familiar with the reversal of symptoms process..but I am not sure if she is familiar with Gemmotherapy or not..she can tell you that much better than I can...
The Doc is out of town right now..but if you would like his contact info, email me off list and I will gladly share it with you...
Best wishes... Jan Phoenix
Jan and Magda both have said that if anyone is concerned about aggression in their dog and would like to contact them to learn more, you can e-mail them and they will be glad to discuss it with you. I can provide their em address' to anyone interested. ;D

OK, I'll bite . . so to speak. How can the average owner tell the difference between aggression triggered by bad temperament or lack of pack leadership, and aggression that is a symptom of vaccinosis?

Excellent question Aussienot!!!
I want to make sure I get this right so I will ask the *experts*, so to speak, who deal homeopathically with aggression everyday and get back to you!

Here is one reply, I expect others.
A. First of all, I'd say "bad temperament" is ALWAYS a sign of chronic disease of some sort, even if mostly just inherited. Secondly, I'd say that if the dog had EVER been vaccinated, then this is the place to start. Thirdly, whatever the "cause" of temperament issues, the chronic disease must be addressed, so it doesn't matter whether it's a result of vaccines given, or any other stressor or inherited predilection. And lastly, no matter what the temperament of the animal, good pack manners should be enforced in every household.
I wouldn't ever expect a total resolution of temperament issues with just behavior modification, but it needs to be there, too, just as a raw diet can greatly influence a dog's behavior - not a cure in itself, but a necessity to maintain the desired result. Very few dogs, I imagine, are merely "confused"; most are both sick AND confused.
Many cases of vaccinosis are either not demonstrated by early symptoms, or the early manifestations are not recognized for what they are, and are suppressed with drugs. The typical nervous system disorders of paralysis, ataxia, fears, aggression, seizures are all late onset, at a time when it is difficult for the uninformed to make the connection to vaccines.
A dog who is suffering from mental disorders will not properly respond to pack cues, and will be either too aggressive, or too submissive and fearful. Major injury or death could result if his behavior is not recognized as disease.

Having dealt with this first hand with Blade and doing my research I agree that any ill behavior by a dog whether it be aggresion, fear, anxiety etc is caused by some chronic illness. Now the reason genetics IMO is brought into the mix is because the vaccinosis can be passed down through the lines. The past couple of days Blade has really given in to the treatment. Now I have not treated him for over a week because you only repeat if there are new behaviors that need to be addressed. I would have never believed this could have helped him, because I am a natural born sceptic, but it has. I would do this again in a heartbeat along with the raw diet because each day we are making steps forward where before it was like we were blocked by something. It was the Vaccinosis.

Reign had a backwards sneezing reaction to his Rabies vaccine where he would snort for breath initially 10 to 20 times a day, and now 2 years later it happens only about once every month or every other month. The vet refused to acknowledge the connection and said that he had an allergy which coincindentally started a few days after the Rabies vaccine. I may have mentioned this before. Now, at the risk of sounding uninformed, what exactly is a chronic disease state. I am assuming that the term vaccinosis and chronic disease state are used interchangeably. I know it sounds self explanatory...a state of chronic disease but my little brain is having a hard time conceptualizing what this means. What is the disease? And Loey your dog is a beauty. Is that Pup?

Ok now you are going to make me use my brain The way I understand this (and Loey can probably do a better job) is that the vaccinosis is the disease and when we say chronic we are talking about reaccuring health issues as in the case of say Fybromialgia just an expample. The backwards sneezing is an out and out sign as you said from the rabies vac and you are right most vets will not even give it a thought. The way I understand vaccinosis is that when a dog is over vaccinated it puts them in a chronic stage of ill health and in time all kinds of symptoms arise, thyroid, diabetes, liver, cancers etc... those of course not being the chronic disease but the outcome of it. Other issues that I have read are digestive, skin problems, eye problems, auto immune disorders there are so many things that can be linked to vaccinosis. It's alot to take in and figure out, I still have a few questions and issues that I cant justify as of yet like the rabies vaccine. I am at a stalemate with that one. Even though Blade is being treated for rabies vaccinosis I just don't know if I can justify not giving him his booster. I dont have a problem with the others because I can do titers but the rabies I just dont know yet.

Ann, you got it!!! And you did a better job at explaining it than I would have. Vaccinosis can either cause accute disease (symptoms which appear within minutes or hours of a vaccine,) or chronic, which can appear anytime after a vaccine. In the case of accute disease, the dog can succumb right then, and a lot do. With chronic disease, the symptoms come on more slowly, and that's why we don't connect them with the vaccinations and think it's *normal* for a dog to have all these illnesses. Skin problems, allergies etc. is also caused by commercial dog food and that's why it's so important to feed a raw diet along with treatment for vaccinosis, or your dog will never become fully healthy. Below is the information I received from mine and Anns homeopath, Magda, on the Rabies vaccinosis aggression. And thanks gals, for the compliment on *my girl*. The picture is of Kerra. *Kerra* means *Firey redhead* in Irish, so I am told, and she sure lives up to her name!! I am still trying to get a good one of the two of them together, but it's soooo hard! One or the other will lay their ears down or whatever and I'm not satisfied with it, but I will get one! A. The damage caused by vaccines, coined vaccinosis, appears at any time after a vaccine is given. According to the survey done by CHC in the UK, the average vaccine chronic reaction does not appear until approximately 30 days after the shot and most of them not until after 3 months or longer. The difference between vaccinosis caused aggression and aggression due to lack of training is like day and night. A dog who takes over, due to lack of a good pack structure, will be trainable and able to be controlled within minutes of having an alpha figure enforce the rules. This is why so many behavior modification techniques and obedience classes are successful in SOME forms of aggression. Aggression that is due to vaccinosis, has no control, the dog cannot act any other way, and it does not benefit from any changes in the pack situation, behavior modification or obedience training.
